Hilary H. Becker, CPM is President and founder of Becker Real Property Services, Inc. Becker Real Property Services, Inc. is a real estate services and investment company located in Lynbrook, Long Island. Mr. Becker is also President of Becker Realty Services, Inc., a full service residential and commercial real estate brokerage rm, and he is President of Becker Real Estate Appraisals, Inc., a full service commercial and residential appraisal rm. Prior to this, Mr. Becker was an Assistant Vice President for J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc. In this capacity, Mr. Becker was directly responsible for a portfolio of more than $250 million in the Asset Management Division of the Real Estate Investment Group, and he specialized in asset turnaround, repositioning, and new technology implementations.

In 1994, Mr. Becker became Past-President of the Institute of Real Estate Management’s Greater New York Chapter No. 26. As President in 1993, he was responsible for managing the activities of the Chapter that includes approximately 250 members in the 5 boroughs and Westchester. The marketing plan implemented under his tutelage helped the chapter membership grow by nearly 20% in spite of the difcult economic times for the real estate industry. The leader in the science of Real Estate Management and the governing body for the Certied Property Manager (CPM) designation, the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) is a national organization with over 9,000 members. Mr. Becker’s job as President and Past-President is to further the advancement of real estate investment management practices and principles. He is also responsible for the adherence of strict professional and ethical standards within the chapter. He has authored several articles on related subjects, appeared as a guest speaker for various seminars, and has been used as an expert witness for real estate legal matters.

A native Long Islander, Mr. Becker is a graduate of Pace University where he majored in public accounting, and is a graduate of the Real Estate Diploma Program at NYU. Mr. Becker is married with 4 children, and resides in Lynbrook, NY, where he is the President of the Lynbrook Youth Athletic Association which provide youth athletics to the families in Lynbrook and surrounding communities. Mr. Becker is the head coach and program director of the Lynbrook Titans Kid Wrestling team for the past 40 years. He was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, in March 2016 for his service and contributions to the sport of wrestling.
